Business Consultant and Coach, ” Your Idea is My Business. ” Understanding Your Vision

1610993_1210385422312093_6813892571587312339_n

I’ve helped many clients start their businesses and develop plans for their businesses. These are just the starting point when establishing a business. My question is, ” What is your next move? Many entrepreneurs or individuals seek guidance from a Consultant or Coach. We can develop road maps, plans of actions, and give you encouragement, but ultimately you have to take the steps and necessary actions to get out there and going. It takes hard work, determination, faith, and will power to step outside the box away from a 9 -5 into your own.

If you have a vision of your career or future, do you act on it? or let it go by? Sometimes we are granted a foresight of the path we suppose to be on for ourselves, but often times we become so worried about paying bills and being complacent with our 9-5 (not guaranteed, nothing is these days) that we won’t step out on faith and take risks. The definition of an Entrepreneur is RISK! You inherit all of the risks required to run a business from gains to losses, and government compliance, you deal with it all like an OWNER should. Our fear turns our won’t into can’t , impounding us with doubts that will take control over our lives if we let it.

My clients come to me with their ideas and businesses they want to open. As a Business Consultant and Coach I give you realization based upon research and numbers (profitable or not). No, I’m not the one who sells you pipe dreams and probably won’t agree with you all the time. However, the information and advice I give you is to help you and not harm you. I provide you with information to use to help you think , analyze, and set realistic goals for yourself and business.

Again, what is your plan? What is your vision telling you? What steps are you willing to take to act on your vision?   Let us guide your vision by  creating the roadmaps and plans you need to take your idea from concept to action!

So When Do You Need Back Office Support? Why?

Office Needs Organization

There are several advantages for outsourcing back office office work to firms or individuals, especially for small businesses, startups, busy offices, traveling professionals, and entrepreneurs. These perks are:

  • Avoidance of payroll and its taxes
  • Paying for hourly rates that is not affordable
  • Paying for services when needed, and not someone “riding” the clock
  • Having someone available to you all the time when need, someone you can depend on even after “normal business hours”

Oh the list can go on and on! Here’s the thing, there are several virtual assistant companies out there, who helps with email handling, scheduling appointment, social media, booking travel arrangements, etc.  What about the heavy duty work? The work that executives do that they need assistance with? For instance:

  • Review of important documentations
  • Preparing Presentations for their meetings
  • Preparing business documents (reports, agendas, minutes, memos, policies)
  • Help with human resources functions
  • Help with business operations
  • Project management services
  • Assistance with special projects
  • Financial management of the business

These are the services we, Peavy and Associates, considers to complex upper management administrative duties.  From the operations to the financial aspect of the business, you may need help with because either you or your department is overwhelmed with work already, or maybe working on a special project to meet deadlines. The daily activities began to pile up and become unintended, this is why back office support is needed.

– Study a problem/Issue to determine the root cause
– Study the potential reasons why a process/ product is having difficulties, problems, breakdowns, and failure
– Identify area for data and information facts collections
– To evaluate why a process is not performing properly or producing the desired results.
– It allow the team to capture everyone’s ideas & thoughts in a structured manner.

Building a Brand: Getting Started with the Thought Process

Ther are many factors to consider when building and branding your company. For example, home based businesses owned by stay at home moms will have to factor in the kids, time, and dedication to both her family and business. Honestly, it is unprofessional to have noise in the background. Clients impression of you is that you are not taking your business seriously, but as a hobby. Small business owners will have to consider the steps to take to get to the next level. All entrepreneurs have to consider the finance of their business. Is more required for growth? Should you consider a team to aid in the task? Or, do you have to revisit your business model and consider expansion? Branding your business definitely helps your business gain recognition. I recommend revamping the marketing sector of your business.

Empowering Women to Follow their Dreams

Whether you are a mother or wife, at some point in life we had dreams and goals of our own we want to accomplish. Just because you have other things going on in your life, it doesn’t mean it still can not be attained. No, it may not be easy, but with hard work you can get it. We must be flexible and balance our personal and work life. Plan our schedule ahead the day before. Be prepared for the tasks to come. You will be better organized and able to get more things done than you ever had before. Set milestones and steps it takes to get to your goal. Work effectively and not according to speed. You want accurate results of your progress not mistakes. Take time to examine your steps again to see if these are necessary to take. Most importantly, if your spouse or significant other think your goals may interfere with your family life, reassure them that the times for both factors, personal and business, will not intertwine. Although to get started will require more of your time, rest and assure it all will pay off in the end. It can help strengthened the burden factors in your relationship like finance and security. Once you had “the talk,” begain planning to accomplish your goals.
