Helping Businesses Define their Processes

As a Lean Six Sigma Specialist, it is very common to see the errors in many organizations business models and processes. Majority of the times the errors lie  within the systems or duplicating processes in the system. Let’s discuss that. As business owner, managers, and executives, we notice the problems begin when our profits/revenue begin to decrease. Our first response is to get more people in to help increase the profits. This is not the case all the time. Majority of our problems are in a processes. We waste time, over spend, go through too many controls and approvals, and really duplicating. It can be as simple as the too many people billing the same invoice or an invoice did not go out because it requires too many signatures. Organizations need to see the errors and how a change can help by using diagrams, charts, and statistics, to show the significants, percentages of increase, and decrease to the Product Owner or Key Executive. Organizations rely on consultants to help implement the change and find the solutions to the problems identified.  Consultants can help with business process improvements, implement continuous flow, cost reduction and savings, and define guidelines.
